Reliance Jio reached 200 million subscribers in nearly 22 months of launch in September 2016. The announcement was made by Reliance Industries Limited President Mukesh Ambani at the Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Annual General Meeting. ). Reliance's 41st AGA on Thursday, Mukesh Ambani's Relaince Jio announced the successor to the hugely popular JioPhone, simply called JioPhone 2 . The announcement came just after President Mukesh Ambani claimed that 25 million JioPhone users are now present in India. The JioPhone 2 contains some unique features, including a QWERTY keyboard, a 2.4-inch QVGA display and a 2000 mAh battery. The JioPhone 2 will be available from August 15th at Rs 2,999.
